In my many years of working with Alcoholism and Addiction, and Codependency, I am convinced that it is truly a “Family Disease.” I started Family Intervention Works in response to what I see as a need to get to the root of the disease not just send the addicted person off to treatment thinking that the problem is solved. At Family Intervention Works we also work with the family to educate and assist in their ongoing recovery. We believe that enabling by loved ones is a major contributor to failed treatment and relapse. Sometimes the addicted individual is sent to treatment multiple times only to be sabotaged by a loved one’s unintentional and well-intended “helping”. Family Intervention Works is dedicated to facilitating the healing of generations of addiction, alcoholism, and codependency.
